Routofy
Overview
What are the opportunities and design challenges around Indian travel websites? I along with the team explored the possibility of a new way of making the user experience of booking and planning a trip in a much more easier, enjoyable and intuitive way.
The Challenge
The team consisted of me as a designer and 3 other developers. Our goal was to identify and build a visual interactive website for planning a trip.
The solution
Our solution is Routofy, a website to find the best way to travel from anywhere to everywhere in just one click. Furthermore, it also keeps a log of the user’s most frequent search and accordingly shows the result which is most preferred by the user.

Breaking the brief and goal
Looking at the pain points we tried to build an optimal booking process and tried to get feedbacks
from users.
Design
The primary focus was to make the interactions as easier as possible to complement the visual represenation of the flight, train and bus combinations. Controls such as slider to adjust the travel duration was well recieved by users.
Another important feature in the product was the ability to get information such as seat availability without even going to the respective sites.
